September Milestones

It is ESPOOKY MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!

It's Kuma's favorite time of year! But before we start our goolish tricks, Kuma wanted to take a moment and talk about what we accomplished last month!

KUMA HIT 2K+ followers on Instagram T_T

Last year we only had 400 cubs follow us, so it's been quite a growth curve!

In celebration, Kuma did a Q&A; you can watch the videos below

PART 1, PART 2, PART 3, PART 4

Speaking of IG *drum roll please

WE WENT BABY VIRAL on a few videos

First one with over 300K+ views was Kuma's MOVE video ( guess we all want to punch the new Starfox design haha)

Her Metal Gear video is sitting nicely at over 99K+ views (I did not post it on here cause it uses a fast-forward element, but here is a quick GIF of it (I played it with the song Snake Eater :3 )

A lot of Kuma's Metroid videos are sitting nicely at 11K and 30K on IG

On TikTok, the " I have a gun" video and "but you don't look Mexican" video broke through and reached 20K and 10K views ( we have broken out of 300-view jail). Also, we have over 130k likes!

We are well on our way to 2K on YouTube too! But most exciting, we are less than 5K views away from hitting 1 million views /(0o0)\ the fact that this is based on my silly little shorts is amazing!

On Giphy, we are almost at 33 million views ( still surprised every time I see it! )

Kuma also got a chance to visit one of the biggest Catrinas imported from Mexico! She is located in her childhood neighborhood, so it was a blast from the past! (Isn't she beautiful! )

She also turned herself into a Catrina, so it was awesome!

Also wanted to say thanks to @53xy83457 for the lovely animation commissions! Hope you don't mind me posting a few of my favorites below

New york comic con!

Kumas creator is refusing to go, but some of the manga distributers she works with will be handing out some cool stuff so keep and eye out.

Lastly, Kuma is doing KUMAWEEN, so this whole month all her content will focus on the spooks. She is also hard at work on a mini surprise; wish me luck on that cause it's hard :3

Thank you so much for all the support! May the great pumpkin find you and give you lots of candy MUAHAHAHAHAH

-Kuma

Stamp of approval

Kuma wanted to share that she is now a stamp! My creator wanted to make some silly craft, and I was the test subject. I think she did ok, but her cut-up fingers say otherwise :)

August Milestones

Posted by Kumaramen - 1 month ago

And like that, August kicked our butts. RIP to the many legends we lost back-to-back. If anything, it shows us that ART will never die, and beautiful things will continue to be made thanks to those who paved the way before us!

OK! Kuma achieved some fun things last month. First and foremost, she passed Risk of Rain 2. "But Kuma, how is that an actual milestone?" Heh, Kuma gave up on this game due to personal reasons, but she doesn't like to run away from hard things, so after a year away, she confronted it and passed it. After dying multiple times, she achieved the ending alone, proving to herself she was indeed stronger than ever :)

We are at 29 million views on GIPHY!!!! I still can't believe we keep growing in views on there; Kuma is a happy gal knowing she is used in various chats all over the globe :)

We had some mini viral posts online! Kuma's Garnacha video blew things out of the water; I guess people like knowing what Mexican snack they are :) IG alone got over 20K views /(OoO)\, spiderkuma also did well, gathering another 20K views on their end.

Kuma is growing!!! She reached over 1.3K followers on YouTube, over 2.2K on TikTok, over 1.8K followers on IG, and over 100 followers on Newground. "But Kuma, followers should not matter; you should do it for the love of the game." True! Kuma's goal to grow is not for vanity reasons; she wants to grow so she can raise the funds to support various artist and get their stories out there! So the more we grow, the more chances we have to make a living and help others make a living with art :) So thank you to every cub who has joined her den!

Kuma is close to hitting 1 million views on YouTube!!!! So a new Q&A will be made once we reach that milestone :3

Kuma's creators' work got showcased at Anime NYC!!! Unfortunately, my creator refused to fly to the East Coast, so we just saw our work through pictures; no adventure this time :)

*Reminder that milestones have no true timeline; they can be achieved slowly or all of a sudden. Kuma's creator hasn't been feeling well lately, but hopefully this post is a reminder that she is trying, and thanks to my cubs, we are achieving some cool things. As always, thank you, and get ready for some of the spooks I am cooking up- Kuma

Kuma snack blog

Posted by Kumaramen - August 19th, 2026

OK! Kuma had to share the snack she got. Behold, my "little" Mexican treats! They were yummy but massive. I ordered them small, so I can only imagine how the large ones will look \(OoO\). I highly suggest you try a Mangonada or a diablito; you will not be disappointed :)

I rate it 4/5 kuma yums!

Risk of Rain log Day 1

Posted by Kumaramen - August 14th, 2026

It's time for Kuma to finally play this game again. She plays solo, so it takes her a bit, but I will do my best to beat that darn game!

Kuma watched Spider-Man; it made her cry, and it was lovely! Her creator is living the Peter Parker life, so she feels ya, my boy :)

July Milestones

Posted by Kumaramen - August 3rd, 2026

July has ended, so it's time for Kuma to document what she has achieved! :)

First and foremost! Kuma's computer is a bit sick, so she has been having trouble animating, but fear not, my unyet-seen brother is on the job to fix it! (I owe him a 1,000,000-dollar repair fee, though, so RIP)

Alright, achievement / Milestone time!

We reached 26 million views on Giphy!!!! Still can't believe peeps are using Kuma in their daily chats! She loves Chisme, so it's a dream come true haha

We reached 100 followers on Newgrounds!!!! Kuma posted her first comic on AUG 30 2025! Thank you to everyone for following! Some may say it's not a big number, but imagine having to share your chips with 100 people; that's a heck of a lot!

We got featured twice on Newgrounds!!! It's so cool to see Kuma on the front page next to some legends T_T. Thank you to those who featured me; I owe you 2x extra-hot chips!

Kuma got more freelance work! It's been a grind, but I can start to afford to save towards my studio! Thank you to the manga industry for welcoming me in!

Kuma went mini baby viral! The inner demon video did really well on YOUTUBE, IG, and TIKTOK! Remember to feed them every 3 hours!

Kuma got to showcase her creators' work at Anime Expo! Though the road to her creators' career is still not great, seeing her hard work shown to thousands of people was wonderful.

We reached 400 art posts on IG!!! If you didn't get a chance to read the Q&A you can watch it on my YOUTUBE channel

I wanted to shout out 53xy83457 for commissioning so many cool animations and always featuring me in their fav list; it has been awesome being able to bring your ideas to life haha, so thank you! And I swear I will get the next animation done when my computer stops being a butt! Sample of some of the animation work I have done for their brawl!

Cupid game in the works! Why yes, after seeing people's reaction to Cupid, I decided to make it a platformer! Still in the testing phase as I'm building it in Godot, but hopefully I can flesh out the story more and actually have y'all see her use her weapons haha! So wish me luck! >_>

Don't tell my creator, but I will be making these milestone blogs every month. I figured it's a good way to cheer her up and remind her of how much she has accomplished as she continues to grind to get her life back on track! Heck, who knows? Maybe it can inspire you to take a moment and look at your own accomplishments; they don't have to be big to matter! Till next month! Kuma out!
